As Operations Manager (30-40 hours/week), you will assist the Director of Operations with overseeing the operations of the business; developing, managing and updating processes; leading human resource activities such as recruiting, hiring and overseeing benefits programs; executing bookkeeping duties including accounts payables and receivables, client invoicing, client expenses and other accounting activities; and executing other responsibilities and operations tasks. Your position will critically support operations and account teams working with potential and current clients. With a focus on supporting leadership, you will provide critical assistance and coordination on various operational needs and support account and business development teams working with current and potential clients. Detailed oriented and organized operations managers are ideal.

The Day-to-Day
- 30-40 hours/week.
- Provide overall insight and recommendations to improve company business operations.
- Work closely with senior leadership to provide business insight and updates.
- Assess and oversee company budget to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.
- Identify potential problems and points of friction and work to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
- Execute bookkeeping responsibilities, including payables and receivables, with direction and oversight from leadership, by recording financial transactions, managing receipt and expense submittals, making and tracking receivable deposits, and being a second contact for invoicing and associated questions.
- Lead and manage all collections activities.
- Administer payroll and bonus distributions as directed by leadership.
- Assist with tracking and executing HR requirements such as recruitment, hiring, and overseeing benefits packages, etc.
- Develop and manage operational processes.
- Develop monthly business and operations reports and recommend additional tools for evaluating the success of the business and projects.
- Track and oversee software subscriptions and manage business insurance policies.
- Serve as team champion, ensuring big events and wins are celebrated, the team feels connected and fulfilled, and the culture and environment stay intact.
- Assist with meeting preparation materials and occasionally attend meetings to provide notes and action items.
- Support other team members working with clients in operational requests.
- Oversee company’s quarterly wellness initiatives.
- Provide leadership and account teams with scanning and filing assistance.
- Run occasional errands, including shopping for office supplies.
- Check mail and make business deposits on all business days.

The Pay
Hourly rate between $22-28/hour.
LŪM is seeking an account coordinator with experience or a specialty in messaging and content development and editing. As an Account Coordinator, you will assist account teams in driving concepts and plans, as well as the execution of various marketing and communications strategies that are included in customized, integrated marketing and communications programs. With a focus on supporting account leadership and ensuring client satisfaction, you will aid in the creation of various services within multiple accounts. As Account Coordinator with an emphasis in content development, you will be skilled at identifying storytelling opportunities and connecting to audiences. You will ideate, write, edit, and publish various types of content for a wide range of platforms, including print, web, social, e-mail, video, audio, and more. You will deliver timely, accurate, high-quality content for various product and service brands. You will display technical writing skills and be highly proficient with grammar, spelling and other aspects critical to accurate writing and content development.
Account coordinators are hired to grow into Account Managers. Through a mentorship and training path, they will receive guidance and development to transition into the role of leading client accounts and interacting with clients. Hard workers with a passion for learning, initiating, and growing are ideal.
The Day-to-Day
- Assisting in the concepting, planning, positioning, and executing of various marketing strategies and tools.
- Collaborate with social media, website, and content specialists; and other team members to concept and manage brand and marketing solutions.
- Attend and participate in client meetings and internal team meetings for strategy development.
- Create content for all forms of media including social, print materials, websites, emails, media pitches and announcements, advertisements, and letters.
- Create, implement, and measure LŪM and client content marketing strategies.
- Publish and share final and approved content on various mediums, including web and social.
- Create short and long-form articles on client subject matter based on brand story, sales, awareness, education and more.
- Develop, edit, and manage content that will be distributed across owned, earned, paid, and social channels and that supports and drives LŪM and clients’ marketing and communications efforts.
- Conduct interviews both in person, over the phone, or virtually to collect information or tell a story.
- Collect and document important competitor and market research that supports strategy and program effort.
- Collect media coverage and metrics to track results of marketing efforts
- Complete database input and management.
- Follow budgets and schedules set by the Account Manager.
- Build and strengthen LŪM’s brand and reputation.

The Education
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field.

- Understanding of messaging and how it resonates with audiences.
- Ability to write accurately and clearly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong storytelling and interview experience.
- Content management systems experience such as WordPress or Square Space.
- Ability to measure ROI on marketing and communications activities.
- Deadline oriented and a commitment to doing what you say you will.
