Blue Ridge Coffee is a staple for delicious coffee and incredible brunch in Casper, Wyoming. Looking to refresh the brand and create a more robust online presence, they hired LŪM Studio in spring of 2023 for a rebrand and website development.
We first did a deep dive into Blue Ridge Coffee’s brand values, tone, key brand descriptors, and other important details that make up the overall brand. From there the LŪM team got to work developing two brand concepts, including a logo and color mockups that would align with the overall brand values and current aesthetics in the shop. Industrial, elegant, and clean were key descriptors used for concepting the design. Once it was narrowed down to one concept, LŪM worked to fully customize the branding by creating the polished final logo, color palette, font, icons, and brand pattern. All materials were organized strategically in a brand guide to ensure consistency in all marketing efforts.
With branding complete, the LŪM Web team got to work on a new website and online ordering system. Developing an engaging website that aligned with the new branding, LŪM focused on two goals for the site: ensuring their digital hub is a reflection of stepping into their coffee shop and encouraging more online orders. With those goals in mind, LŪM developed an engaging website that incorporated their new branding and gave the web viewer the feeling like they just sat down for a freshly brewed latte. As growing their online presence was the other important focus of the site, LŪM helped Blue Ridge Coffee create an online storefront using Square and a phone app, to increase online orders for their business.
LŪM’s final task was to help boost awareness of Blue Ridge Coffee’s new downtown storefront, Brew Bus, rebrand, and website. Utilizing media relations, LŪM was able to gain media coverage from local media outlets, specifically the grand opening and rebrand, which assisted with their overall awareness goals and ensured they get in front of new and loyal customers.
Since the launch of the site, Blue Ridge Coffee’s users have increased 286% and the website sees over 2,000 page views each month. Online ordering, integral for their operations, has risen 507%. As they continue to expand, LŪM provides support on website changes, managing Google Business accounts, and assisting in various marketing support.
