Healthy Natrona County is a health coalition initiative organized through Casper–Natrona County Health Department (CNCHD). They strive to build a healthy and safe community in Casper, WY through a wide variety of prevention initiatives.
LŪM and CNCHD team members first collaborated on segmenting the audiences (the Who we are reaching) into three groups, youth (Ages 9-18), parents, and adults. Within those audiences, marketing would be focused on highlighting three different focus areas, smoking/vaping, underage/binge drinking, and suicide prevention. LŪM began concepting the overall campaign that would not only make advertisements and marketing materials unique to each audience and focus area but create engaging content that encourages all audiences to practice prevention measures.
Through creative brainstorming, the LŪM team created a theme to tie all branded materials together, used branded colors to define each focus area, and developed positive (and fun) messaging to create an overall tone for the campaign. From there, LŪM developed a strategic media buy plan and marketing strategy, focusing on what media would best reach what audience.
The campaign is underway and is showing great results so far. The website healthynatronacounty.com has seen a 55% increase in website users since the start of the campaign. Facebook has seen an organic reach of over 2000% in just the first few months of the campaign. By focusing on the segmented audiences and what makes them unique, we’ve created a marketing campaign that connects with them and educates them on the importance of prevention, ultimately helping Healthy Natrona County build a healthier community.
